Services

Housing Levels Defined
Independent Living (The Gardens) Housing at The Gardens is for people who are able to take care of themselves without assistance.  There are no health or personal assistance services provided with the monthly fees at this level of living.  Like living at home, a condo or an apartment, the residents are able to schedule home care services at an additional expense if they are needed.

Assisted Living - Residential Care Apartment Complex (The Court) The Court is a state certified Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC).  Residents have their own apartment with kitchenette, living/dining area, bedroom and full bathroom.  They provide their own furniture but all required health-related services as well as meals and housekeeping are included in the monthly fees.  Following an assessment from the Registered nurse, an individual care plan is designed so that each resident receives the care and assistance they require.  Staff is on-site 24-hours a day to meet the needs of all residents.

Assisted Living - Community Based Residential Facility (The Villa) This type of housing is often referred to as a "group home".  At The Villa, each resident has their own bedroom with full bath. Residents provide their own furniture for their bedroom.  They all share the living room and dining areas.  All meals are provided.  Each resident is assessed by a registered nurse who then prepares a care plan designed specifically for the individual resident.  Staff is on-site 24-hours a day to provide care and assistance for all residents.  At Felician Village, one household in The Villa is for residents with early to mid-stage dementia. Staff has training specifically for meeting the special needs of these residents.

Long-term care (St. Mary's)  Also referred to as a nursing home, St. Mary's provides the highest level of nursing care on campus.  Nursing staff is available 24-hours a day to care for all residents who are no longer able to provide care for themselves.  St. Mary's has four-households for 16 residents each.  One of those households is for residents with dementia.
