Our speech language pathologists assist individuals with all aspects of communication. Their primary role is to return people to their highest
level of communication after a decline in function, incorporating strategies to help a person improve his or her ability to receive and process
information as it relates to activities of daily living. Speech and language services available at Felician Village address the following:
- Dysphagia (swallowing disorder)
- Cognitive retraining (memory, processing, sequencing)
- Augmentative communication
- Aural rehabilitation (hearing)
- Aphasia (language problems, post stroke)
- Visual perception deficits
