What is assisted living? What is RCAC? The Wisconsin Department of Health & Family Services defines Residential Care Apartment Complexes as “independent apartment units in which the following services are provided: room and board, up to 28 hours per week of supportive care, personal care and nursing services. The Court is the ONLY state-certified RCAC in Manitowoc County, which ensures that we provide the highest quality of care. Plus we can help meet your future needs with our unique campus setting. No one else in the area offers a more comprehensive senior living community. How do I know when to consider assisted living options? What services and amenities are available at The Court? * 24-hour, on-site caregivers* Nursing services, including health monitoring, medication administration and management * Personal care/assistance with activities of daily living, including dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring and assistance with ambulation/mobility * Therapy services, including speech, occupational, and physical therapy * Religious and pastoral care for all faiths * Emergency response system * Assistance with access to medical services * Apartment appliances, including a stovetop, microwave and refrigerator * A continental breakfast and two delicious meals served daily in a private dining room * Beauty/barber shop * Coffee/snack shop * Housekeeping and laundry services * Social and recreational activities, including crafts, bingo, card parties, special events and big screen TV Do you allow pets? What floor plans and apartment sizes are available at The Gardens? * Large one bedroom – 549 square feet * Two bedroom – 954 square feet Can I meet my spiritual needs at The Court? * Daily mass * Catholic and Protestant services What is the process or procedure for moving in? Once it is determined that your needs can be met at The Court, you will sign a lease and be given the keys to your new home. You are then able to make arrangements with family or a commercial service to move your personal furniture and belongings into the apartment. The Villas at Felician Village What is assisted living? What is CBRF? The Wisconsin Department of Health & Family Services defines a Community Based Residential Facility as “a place where 5 or more unrelated people live together in a community setting. Services provided include room and board, supervision, support services, and may include up to 3 hours of nursing care per week.” The Villa is a Class C, non-ambulatory care facility governed under HFS 83 regulations, which ensures that we provide the highest quality of care. Plus we can help meet your future needs with our unique campus setting. What services and amenities are offered at The Villa? * 24-hour professional staff on duty* Medication management * Health monitoring services * Incontinence support * Health and wellness promotion, including exercise and self mobility * Assistance with access to medical services and therapy * Assistance with personal activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and ambulation/mobility * Availability of amenities of Felician Village, including a salon/barber shop, gift shop and The Village Cafe * Annual assessments and care review * Three meals per day, including snacks and specialized diets (with physician order) * Housekeeping and personal laundry services * Religious and pastoral care for all faiths * Social and recreational activities, including crafts, bingo, card parties, special events and outings * Free cable television What accommodations are provided at The Villa? * Housekeeping services * Linen changes * Handicapped accessible bathroom Residents enjoy the Villa country kitchen, beautiful living room, spacious dining room, featuring family style meals, activity room and outdoor patio. The Villa is equipped with fire and smoke detection systems. Entrance doors are secured from 7 pm until 7 am. Do you allow pets? What is the process or procedure for moving in? St. Mary's at Felician Village Would I share my room with another resident? How do I pay for care at St. Mary's? Are you Medicare certified? Do you accept a resident with Alzheimer's disease? Do you provide rehabilitation for people who are not residents? May I bring personal items from home? Do you offer activities in the evening and weekends? Can my pets come to visit? May I have a beer or drink before dinner like I would at home? What is the process or procedure for moving in? Transitional Care Services What are transitional care services? What types of services are included in transitional care services? What is the difference between "Next Step" transitional services and St. Mary's? Next Step units feature private rooms on a dedicated unit of St. Mary's. Each of the newly furnished Next Step rooms is equipped with a telephone, wall-mounted TV and VHS player. Guests are steps away from the dining room/lounge area where they can gather and socialize, watch a movie, or access the Internet and check e-mails. Next Step guests can choose to enjoy meals in the privacy of their own room or join others in the dining room/lounge area. A well-equipped kitchenette allows guests to prepare a beverage and snack at their leisure. What health situations are addressed? |
